Wht2du Event postage
Upon posting an event some of your personal information may be released to Wht2du such as city and state of reference and email address or phone number to contact. To post an event on Wht2du without a user account requires an email address. This email address will not be displayed publicly on the event page without the user request to do so. Wht2du will use email address to transmit information regarding the posted event. Furthermore all information and content pertaining to the published event including the email address will remain stored and accessible by Wht2du personnel to handle disputes, retrieve future information or send verification request.
Any information submitted to Wht2du regarding an event is intended to be public and upon final submission of the initial postage or editing of the event information such provided content will be immediately published. All images or media will be protected to only the user account while event is not posted but upon publishing will be accessible to all users, search engines or any other media.
Event pages can not be deleted but are able to be deactivated. Images and media content will not be deleted. A month after the final date of an event or event series, active events will be archived by Wht2du and not be editable or be able to be deactivated.
User account registration requires a legitimate email address. This email address will be used to transmit account information such as in the case if a password is forgotten or the account has been disabled. It may also be displayed at your request when posting event information. In the future with your authorization the account email address may be used to send Wht2du newsletters, event information, or other notifications.
Optional for user account is also the Username, which may be public to identify the author/editor of an event page.
Wht2du through our web host provider automatically receives and stores visitor information. This information includes your IP address, User Agent string(Browser type), referring page, visited page and operating system. Wht2du uses such data to improve our services and interpret user interaction with the service.
Wht2du may install third-party extensions such as the Facebook Like, Google+ plus or Twitter Tweet button. Because these extensions allow the services the ability to track you across Wht2du these extensions will only be enabled on opt-in basis. Which may be enabled in the User Account settings.
Wht2du does not release your data or information to any external entities, businesses or individuals except in limited cases. Wht2du may release your account or personal information when at your request such as in integration with a third-party service.
Wht2du may release your data or information if reasonably requested to do by government regulation, law or request. Wht2du may also release your personal information or data to protect the safety of our users, employees, or others if it is a reasonably necessary to do.
